BC Place Sunset (Framed)
BC Place Sunset (Framed)
When the $514,000,000 budget was announced to perform renovations on the iconic BC Place dome there was a public outcry! "Save the world's largest air supported dome!" "Half a billion is way too much!" When the project was finished and the final cost was $544M, $30M over budget, the complaints were fewer because the final product can't be denied.
Revered for its beauty during the day and adored, wholeheartedly worshipped, for its LED lit splendour at night. Now boasting the largest cable supported retractable roof in the world and the second largest high-definition scoreboard, behind only the $1B monster Dallas Cowboys arena, the new and improved BC Place is one of the most recognizable Vancouver landmarks.
This shot is taken from the air facing west over BC Place and downtown Vancouver with English Bay and the Salt Spring Islands in the distance.
Printed on Pearl, with a mat, all put together in a black wooden frame.
